  Just picked up take away lunch and it was terrible. The "lunch special" was a standard size container, half filled with mushy rice and the other half filled with 80% onion and cabbage, which was meant to be mixed vegetable. The soup was ok but the chicken in it was gross. Was overpriced too, which made the experience even worse. Would never go back again, especially as there are so many good Thai restaurants in the area.

  We absolutely LOVE Heart Thai Food. It's hard to find a Brisbane Thai restaurant that makes authentic Thai food. After 13 years in SE Asia my wife and I get very picky when it comes to Thai cuisine. We highly recommend Heart Thai Food. (They do Vegan too!)

  Update: after they got this review, they changed the times on Google and then chose to insult me instead. If you're the sort of masochist who's into being insulted by restaurants for their own screw ups, then this is a 5* place for you.

  When my Darwin friends and family come to visit, I bring them here; Darwin people have access to insanely amazing Thai food and therefore are extremely picky. Personally, the Golden Parcels are my life -- the water chestnut in them is divine. I don't eat there as much as I'd like to because it's a tad expensive, but when I can, I do. Top job, team.

  4.5 stars is on the money. Closer to 5 than 4 though. I Ordered the Pad Thai seafood. Dine in. $15.50. Flavour was good. Beautiful wedge of fresh lime on the dish. I was very pleasantly surprised when I tasted it a sea scallop. There are also two beautiful king prawns in there one with the tail on. It's lovely to see some restaurants still using quality local and imported ingredients.
