I think martial arts is a very subconscious journey and when those techniques are called for they appear.

In this horrific world we are now in with so many sexual predators and desperate junkies I certainly feel safer knowing my kids won't be taken easily. I have seen my kids in action and i have seen that trying to abduct them would be no easy feat and for that I highly recommend martial arts and in particular Mark Haseman - Tohkon Ryu Ju Jitsu.

By the time they reach black belt in their mid teens they will be able to achieve anything they set their minds to, because they have completed a decade long journey already. They will also be able to use their skills for employment instead of delivering pizzas during their tertiary years, if they wanted too.

If I knew this sooner I wouldn't have wasted my time and money.

Our two kids have gone to mark baseman's dojo for a few years now, they had originally done a few years in another form of ju jitsu that was much more aggressive and the focus was much more on cage competition than technique.

I have observed the higher grades and i have noted how respectful and disciplined they are and thats exactly what i want for my kids.

I immediately noticed the more relaxed pace and for kids only 6 and 8 its probably a better environment.

The trainers name is Mark. The worst trainer I've ever trained with. Teaches you 50 techniques in one lesson and moves on within 1 minute. He doesn't repeat the same movement till 3 months later. By that time you've already forgotten it. He takes $50 a belt and I can't even remember the technique for that grade!

Id say the former style would produce more bullies, and marks style would teach kids to look after themselves if given a situation without them seeking the situation in the first place.
